Publication Guidelines and Regulations

– The journal publishes the sober and original articles which were not published before in Sciences, politics and security fields.

– The articles written in Kurdish, Arabic and English are accepted and the researcher affords the process of evaluation as far as language is concerned.

– The article must not be drawn from an M.A or Ph. D. dissertation of the researcher or supervisor was discussed or drawn from a book published before.

– Researchers must commit to the basics of the scientific research.

– The researcher is to pay 100000 Iraqi dinars as the fees of publishing and evaluating the article scientifically.

– The article should not contain more than 8000.

– Ariel is to be the main font used for the Kurdish and Arabic articles and the size is to be 16 for the head titles, 14 for the text and 12 for the margins with one single space between the lines.

– Times New Roman is to be the main font for the English articles and the size is to be 14 for the head titles, 12 for the text and 10 for the margins with one single space between the lines.

– Pages are numbered at the top of the paper in the middle.

– The margins are written in each page separately and the article is to contain a list of the accredited sources.

– In Kurdish and Arabic articles, the comma is to be used as a separator in the margins and the bibliographic information arrangement should be as in the following: author’s name, source title, edition number, place of publication and publication house, year of publication, along with relying on abbreviations for the titles, number of edition and the volumes and parts. In English articles, documentation should be that of Harvard style.

– Along with articles, three abstracts in Kurdish, Arabic and English are to be submitted with not more than 200 words for each.

– Three printed copies are submitted to the journal editorial board in addition to an electronic copy on a CD, Or send to the following email: ( [email protected] ).

– The journal is not committed to return the articles back nor the fees in case they are not published.

– The articles published in the journal of political and security studies are considered a property of the journal and it is not possible to republish them unless there is a written acceptance by the editorial board.
